Drop 02: Inside the Hunt for Our Best Vintage Sportswear Collection Yet
Every drop starts the same way: a chaotic moodboard, dozens of tabs left open at 2 a.m., and way too many late-night auction listings saved into a folder called "maybe." Drop 02 was no different.
This collection began with a clear obsession: early-2000s sportswear. We found ourselves drawn back to the era's unmistakable silhouettes — mesh jerseys, fitted baby tees, low-rise tracksuits, oversized athletic graphics, and the kind of pieces that feel just as relevant now as they did twenty years ago.
Rather than recreating the look, we went searching for the real thing.

The Vintage Sourcing Process
Every item in Drop 02 is authentic secondhand clothing sourced through months of vintage hunting. We searched estate sales, wholesale vintage lots, deadstock collections, online auctions, and more than a few unexpectedly successful thrift store runs.
The process is rarely glamorous. Most sourcing trips end with hundreds of pieces that never make the final collection. But occasionally, buried between racks and boxes, we find something special: a perfectly faded graphic tee, an unworn deadstock sports jersey, or a forgotten Y2K piece that feels ready for a second life.
What makes this collection different is its exclusivity. Nothing is reproduced, remade, or mass-produced. Every piece is one-of-one. Once an item sells, it won't be restocked.
That's part of what makes vintage fashion exciting — every find has a story, and every piece exists in limited quantities.

The Edit: From 400 Pieces to 200
The hardest part of every vintage clothing drop isn't finding the pieces. It's deciding what stays.
For Drop 02, we pulled close to four hundred items during the sourcing process. After weeks of reviewing, fitting, and styling, we narrowed the collection down to just two hundred pieces.
Our goal wasn't simply nostalgia.
We wanted pieces that felt genuinely wearable in 2026 — clothing that could fit naturally into a modern wardrobe while still carrying the character of the early 2000s. Every item had to earn its place.
If a piece felt like a costume rather than something you'd actually reach for, it didn't make the cut.

Cleaning, Repairing, and Quality Control
Before any item reaches the site, it goes through a full preparation process.
Each piece is professionally cleaned, carefully inspected, and repaired where necessary. Small flaws are addressed whenever possible while preserving the original character that makes vintage clothing unique.
We also take detailed measurements for every garment rather than relying on original tag sizes. Vintage sizing varies dramatically from brand to brand and era to era, so accurate measurements help customers find the right fit with confidence.
Transparency matters, especially when every item is unique.

Photographing Vintage Clothing on Real Bodies
One of the most important parts of every drop is showing how the clothing actually fits.
Rather than relying solely on flat product photography, we photograph pieces on real people to give a more accurate sense of proportion, styling, and silhouette. Vintage clothing can fit very differently from modern garments, and seeing items worn helps bring them to life.
Our goal is to make online vintage shopping feel as close as possible to discovering the piece in person.

The Shoot
We shot the entire collection on film during one very long Sunday in the studio.
Film felt like the right medium for this drop. The grain, texture, and imperfect quality echoed the character of the garments themselves. Nothing felt overly polished or manufactured. Instead, the images captured the energy we wanted the collection to have: authentic, lived-in, and timeless.
By the end of the day, we had hundreds of frames, countless outfit changes, and a collection that finally felt complete.

Why We Continue to Focus on Vintage Fashion
Choosing secondhand clothing isn't just about aesthetics.
Vintage fashion extends the lifespan of existing garments, reduces demand for new production, and gives quality pieces another opportunity to be worn and appreciated. Every item in Drop 02 represents clothing that might otherwise have been forgotten.
For us, vintage is about discovery, individuality, and finding pieces that stand apart from the cycle of fast fashion.
No two wardrobes should look exactly the same.
Drop 02 Release Information
Drop 02 goes live Friday at 7 PM.
As always, quantities are extremely limited because every item is unique. Historically, the most sought-after pieces sell quickly, and many never make it through the first hour.
If you've been following previews or waiting for a specific item, set a reminder and be ready when the collection launches.
Once it's gone, it's gone.
